Filmmaker Richard Linklater recently filed a lawsuit in Travis County District Court alleging his insurer Truck Insurance Exchange is acting in breach of contract after the company said it will not cover his lost property. The insurance company claims that the location owned by Linklater is not named in the declaration policy. 53-year-old Manuel Hernandez was charged with applying for benefits through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for a house he owned in Paige that was burned in the September 2011 wildfire.
