An Austin nightclub, Haven, hosted the WinterGlo 2012 Charity Fashion Show on Friday January 13 in order to raise money for the Austin Disaster Relief Network.
The fashion show featured clothes from St. Bernard Sports and was organized by Unreal 360 and Shi Productions. The doors to the event opened at 9 p.m. and the room was steadily filled in anticipation for the show.
The club was decorated to look like a Winter Wonderland and included Christmas trees and fake snow. Austin’s very own, DJ Tru feature mixes of popular songs for the models to walk down the runway to.
To go with the theme of the evening, the models wore clothing that would be worn while participating in extreme sports and they were also encouraged to dance along with the music and have a good time. Organizers wanted to do a charity in order to give back the Bastrop fire victims and they ended up raising $400 for the fund.
