Bastrop County is still recovering from the most damaging wildfire in the Central Texas history and with the holidays right around the corner, now is a great time to donate to the kids in the area who may have lost all that they had.
Bastrop Pink Santa began November 14 and continues through Dec. 10 and many stores will be accepting new toy donations in order to distribute them to kids in the area that are in need.
The Pink Santa organization lost its entire inventory that they had been collecting in the wildfire. The toys were being held in two homes that were both destroyed in the fire. Many Austin businesses have partnered up the Pink Santa in order to help with the effort. Last year, Bastrop Pink Santa served more than 1,000 children.
The Bastrop fire damage lawyers of Williams Kherkher are wishing a safe and happy holidays to those affected by the Labor Day fires and all families in the Central Texas area. For more information on where to donate, visit the KXAN website today.
