This Saturday, the Bastrop Convention and Exhibit Center will hold an all-day exposition with experts in insurance, firefighting, home building, and landscaping. The event is meant to be beneficial to survivors of the recent Bastrop County wildfires.
The exposition will take place from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and is free to attend. Experts and government officials will speak and victims of the wildfires will be able to ask questions about any problems the fires may have created for them.
A member of the committee organizing the event, Susan Nogues, said of the event, “We’re trying to give people hope, vision and information about resources to rebuild and return to Bastrop.”
