Trailers from the Texas division for the Federal Emergency Management Agency have now arrived in Bastrop for people who have lost their homes in the fire.
FEMA is now delivering housing units to the area so that victims have a place to live. The new housing units are bigger with up to three bedrooms for larger families and come completely furnished.
FEMA officials have said that nearly 100 units will be in need for the area that has been affected by the wildfires. Many people who have lost their homes have been staying with friends and in hotels since the loss of their homes. Wildfire victims can still apply for housing units online if they have not yet.
